The anti-freeze safety valve should be installed on a brass ½ female connection.
The thermostatic valve is an economical anti-freeze and protection accessory for your installation.
When water temperature drops to 1 °C, the valve opens letting the water trickle through, preventing it from freezing.
When water temperature increases to over 4 °C, the valve automatically closes until the next cycle.
